Having made a few changes and adjustments in the team for the upcoming season, Vipers has agreed to loan two of their players to Wankulukuku side, Express FC.

The Venoms have sent midfielders Allan Kyambadde and John Ssemazzi on loan where they will play for the entire 2016/17 season. The former joined Vipers in 2014 on a three year contract having impressed and played well at Express FC but has struggled to replicate his form for the last two seasons.

He scored four goals; two in the league and two in the Uganda Cup  and helped Vipers win the 2014/15  Azam Uganda Premier league title, 2015/16 Fufa Super Cup and  Uganda Cup as well.

John Ssemazzi returns to the Red Eagles just after playing one season for Vipers SC where he did not score any goal.


Kyambadde will rejoin Express Fc on a season’s long loan deal.

However, the pair will return to Vipers in January for the CAF Confederations Cup should they have a good loan spell at Express according to one of the clauses in their loan agreement.

“An agreement has been reached between us and Express Fc to have Kyambadde and Ssemazzi play on loan for one season,” Haruna Kyobe , Vipers head of technical duties confirmed.

Vipers at the start of this week unveiled Ibrahim Kayiwa (Express FC ),Brian Kakaire (Voxjo, Sweden) and promoted Ashraf Mandela, Bashir Mutanda and Goeffrey Wasswa from their junior side.
