Vipers SC will have to make do without midfielder Brian Kakaire who suffered a sprain in his left kne ligament.
Kakaire joined Vipers from Voxjo, Sweden and was unveiled on Monday at the prayer breakfast held at Imperial Resort hotel, Entebbe. He attended the fitness test training on Wednesday with the rest of the teammates but wobbled at the end of the session in what was suspected to be a ligament problem.
However, it was not the start Kakaire would have wished to make in his Vipers career; he underwent a scan early this morning and was recommended to stay on the sidelines for 10 days until he can fully recover from a lateral collateral ligament sprain.
“He will be out for the said time but we shall close monitor his condition thereafter,” Michael Lule,Vipers’ team doctor said.
The player missed today’s training session while Ibrahim Kayiwa also trained alone from the rest of the teammates.
Kakaire’s strength lies in his dribbles, passes and shots and will help in solving Vipers’ goal scoring problems that were manifested last season
