The Uganda Cranes have this evening left for Morocco ahead of the forthcoming Championship of Africa Nations (CHAN).

Six players from Vipers Sports Club are part of the 25 man squad that have departed Entebbe International airport on Wednesday.

The players include goalkeeper Ismail Watenga who has been a mainstay in the national team step in the recent years.

Captain Nicholas Wadada is another player who has travelled to Morocco and expected to make the final squad.

The aforementioned players were part of the Cranes team that played at the previous CHAN tournament in Rwanda two years ago.

The other venoms on the squad are Tadeo Lwanga, Tom Masiko, Moses Waiswa and Milton Karisa.

Uganda is in group B alongside Namibia, Zambia and Ivory Coast.
