Vipers Sports Club have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Police FC, with striker Mousa Mbayi set to return.

Mbayi missed Vipers  first four games against Bright Stars, Bul FC, SC Villa and new comers Masavu FC after sustaining a hamstring problem during the team’s pre-season training.

But Vipers have hope of having the forward back in action tomorrow in the do-or-die encounter against Police. The news comes as a huge boost for head coach Miguel Da Costa.

The services of youngsters Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye and Bamuturaki ‘Fadiga’ Ashraf will be missed as they are away preparing to sit for their Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) starting on Monday next week.

There were also concerns about when Dan Sseninde and Halid Lwaliwa return but the duo have resumed full training following respective foot and knee injuries but still sidelined.

The Vipers  boss, whose side are undefeated in their last four games, will have to make a decision whether to start the Congolese marksman who has featured in four friendlies (Spartans FC, Jaguar FC, Katwe United and Nkumba University) during the international break and scored three goals.
