Milton Karisa has revealed that the Uganda Cranes have put all their focus on winning tomorrow’s crucial CHAN 2018 qualifier game against Rwanda.

The game is a big one and victory for either side will brighten their qualification chances going into the return tie.

‘A huge test against Rwanda awaits us but we are confident we shall give our fans the best performance and win.’

‘The team’s been training well and the morale is certainly high, so there is no chance of slipping when we face off in the game,’ the Vipers forward stressed.

Uganda Cranes thrashed South Sudan 5-1 last month at Lugogo to meet with Rwanda and the hosts will be hoping to bank on the home support to see off the stubborn neighbors.

Karisa who put up a good performance against the Sudanese, creating the Cranes’ third and fifth goal is optimistic his side will not disappoint the fans.

He said, ‘ the environment is not new to some of us and we hope we can give our best to help the team win because they (Rwanda) will not be an easy side when we visit them.’

Vipers has 8 players on the Uganda Cranes Chan team, the biggest compared to all other local clubs.

Isma Watenga, Nico Wadada (Uganda Cranes Chan team captain), Deus Bukenya, Tom Masiko, Moses Waiswa,Frank Tumwesigye,Erisa Ssekisambu and Milton Karisa are the Venoms’ representatives who will be vying for a spot on Moses Basena’s team against the Amavubi stars.
